Everything starts here — My Routes, Import Routes, Upgrade to Pro, and Settings. My Routes is where every route you've imported lives. Import Routes brings in a route pack from drivingtestroutes.uk. Upgrade to Pro removes the mileage cap.
Routes come from drivingtestroutes.uk as .gpx or .zip files. Tap Choose File to open the Files picker and select a route or route pack you've downloaded. You can also open a downloaded file directly from the Files app and choose this app to open it — no need to come back here first.
Every route you've imported, with distance and detail at a glance. Tap any route to open it on the map, ready to simulate or drive.
Watch the whole route play out on the map without driving anywhere. Pick a playback speed (0.5x up to 4x) and hit Play — the map follows the route exactly as it was recorded for the real test, turn by turn. Reset starts it over from the beginning. Good for learning a route's shape before you drive it for real.
Real turn-by-turn voice guidance while you actually drive the route.Tap Drive when you're ready to go — you'll then choose how you want to join the route (see the next page).
Choose to drive to the exact recorded start, or join from wherever you already are.Routes to the starting point always approach it facing the correct direction for safety, which can make that drive longer than the most direct route. If it's safe to turn in the road, joining at your nearest point may be quicker.
Spoken instructions and a live map, exactly like a real satnav.The banner at the top shows the next turn and how far away it is, spoken aloud as you approach. The X ends the drive at any time and takes you back to the route.

Routes bought from drivingtestroutes.uk are always usable in full either way — Pro only affects routes you import yourself beyond the free mileage cap.
Apple's better voices are free, and make the spoken directions much clearer to follow.New phones only have Apple's basic voice installed, which sounds robotic. To get a much better one: Settings → Accessibility → Spoken Content → Voices → English (UK), then download Kate (Enhanced). It's about 150MB, so it's best done on Wi-Fi. The app picks the best voice you have installed automatically — there's nothing to change here afterwards.
Always ensure you are accompanied by a supervising driver or qualified instructor when practicing. Do not interact with your mobile device while driving; set up your navigation app and audio turn-by-turn prompts before starting your engine.
